How it works

How to make a Phone call QR code

  1. 1

    Enter the number

Type the full number with the + and country code, such as +1 for the US or +44 for the UK. That way it dials correctly from any phone.

  2. 2

    Style the code

Add your colours, logo or a "Scan me" frame to match your sign, card or advert.

  3. 3

    Test it

Scan the preview. Your phone should show the number and ask whether you want to call it.

  4. 4

    Download

Pick PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF, from 512 to 4096 px.

Where it helps

Use cases.

  • Vans and site boards

Put a code on vehicles and building-site signs so people can call without memorising the number.

  • Support and out-of-hours lines

Label equipment with the number for the helpline or the emergency contact.

  • Print adverts

Add a call code to flyers and local press ads for people who'd rather talk than fill in a form.

  • Pet tags and luggage

A small code with your mobile number helps whoever finds them reach you quickly.

Before you print

Tips that save a reprint.

  • Always include the country code. A number in local format may not dial from a foreign SIM.
  • Show the number as text beside the code for anyone who can't scan.
  • Phone codes hold very little data, so they scan well even when small. Still keep them at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide on print.
  • On vehicles and signs, make the code big enough to scan from where people will actually stand, and test it from that spot before printing.
  • Point the code at a line that gets answered, with voicemail set up for outside opening hours.

FAQ

Phone call QR code questions.

Something else? Email hello@endureqr.com and a person will reply within one business day.

No. The phone shows the number and asks the person to confirm before calling.

Yes. The built-in camera on both reads phone codes and offers to call the number.

Yes. Any number you can dial works. Freephone numbers may not be reachable from abroad, so add a standard number for international audiences.

It's strongly recommended. With the + and country code, the number dials correctly from any phone, including visitors on foreign SIMs.

The number is stored in the code, so you'll need to make a new one and reprint it.

Need to change it after printing?

A dynamic code can point somewhere new any time, shows you who scans it, and keeps working even if you cancel.
