In Bitly's own words

“Your bit.ly links continue to work after you downgrade your account.”

“If you downgrade to a plan that doesn't include a custom domain: We won't renew the registration for your complimentary domain. When that registration expires, any links using that domain will stop working.”

No. EndureQR is an independent product. Bitly is a trademark of its owner; we compare plans using their public pricing and help pages, checked 26 Oct 2026.

Bitly links and their QR codes keep working after you downgrade. Links on a complimentary custom domain stop when that domain's registration expires, and the Free plan allows no destination changes at all. (Checked 26 Oct 2026; confirm with Bitly before relying on it.)

You can't move a code that points at Bitly's short links, but you can export your destinations, import them into EndureQR as a CSV and reprint once. After that, you never need to reprint again.

They keep working. Every dynamic code keeps redirecting to its last destination, forever, with no service page and no ads. You only lose the ability to edit destinations and see new analytics until you come back.

Change your codes as often as you like.

Make your first dynamic code in a minute. If you ever leave, it keeps working.
