How it works
How to make a LinkedIn QR code
- 1
Choose profile or company page
Pick personal profile or company page, then type your username, the part after linkedin.com/in/ or linkedin.com/company/. You can also paste the full link.
- 2
Tidy your URL first
If your profile address ends in a string of numbers, set a custom public URL in LinkedIn before you make the code. It's cleaner and makes a simpler pattern.
- 3
Style it
Professional settings suit a plain, high-contrast code. Add your logo if it appears on your other materials.
- 4
Test and download
Scan the preview to check it opens the right profile, then download SVG or PDF for print.
Where it helps
Use cases.
Business cards
Add your LinkedIn code next to your details so new contacts connect in one step.
Conference badges and stands
Make it easy for people to find you without spelling your name into a search box.
Printed CVs and portfolios
Put a small code on your CV that opens your full profile, recommendations included.
Recruitment materials
Link job ads, brochures and office signage to your company page so candidates can follow it.
Before you print
Tips that save a reprint.
- Set your custom URL before printing. Changing it later breaks a static code.
- Check your public profile settings so people who aren't logged in can still see your name and headline.
- On a CV, keep the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide and write your profile address next to it.
- On a stand, print the code large enough to scan from a step back, with your name above it.
- One code per card is clearest. If people also need your phone and email, a vCard code with your LinkedIn link in the website field covers both.
